Lightdow Super Zoom For Canon Rebel
"I purchased a Lightdow 420-800 zoom lens and it didn't come with a T mount. What kind of mount should I buy. What should I do I really want to use the lens. What kind of adapter can I use Help please. firstname.lastname@example.org"
Thanks for your question about getting the right kind of mount for your Lightdow 420-800mm Manual Zoom Super Telephoto Lens for your Canon camera.
Those lenses give you serious magnification at a real cheap price. Under ideal conditions with the right very bright lighting you can get adequate results of really far distant subjects. I one used a similar quality 100-300mm zoom on my Canon DSLR and I just couldn't deal with the chromatic aberrations and lack of sharpness. Because I'm always striving for only high quality images, I shy away from gimmicky lenses like fixed aperture super zoom and mirror lenses for my Canon camera bodies.
I have no experience with the superzoom you refer to and mounting it to your Canon Rebel. It shouldn't be too hard to find out what you need by calling Canon directly or by calling one of the full-time camera retailers like Adorama or B+H PhotoVideo. I'd also look at this one on Amazon to see if it works for you T-Mount (T2) Adapter for Canon EF EOS.
