Canon SX740 Battery Dies

Canon NB-13L Battery
For Canon SX740 Camera

"When i do a 30 minute video with my SX740 camera using 4k, and try to download it to my phone, the camera battery dies every time before it is completed and it doesn't download. What can I do?"

Hello someone,

Sorry you're having trouble downloading a long 4k video from your Canon SX740 to your phone.

Even with a small sensor, like your SX70, a 30 minute 4k video is a very large file to download anywhere, particularly to a phone.

Canon SX740 Battery Capacity

The NB-13L battery, which fits your Canon SX70 is a small battery with only 1250MAh if it's brand new. I'd suggest a new battery might do the trick, but I also wonder if your phone can handle such a big file as well.

This is much less of a problem if you were downloading to a computer. Then it's a simple matter of removing the SD card from your SX740 and using a USB port to download your 4k video much faster (without using any battery) to your computer.

Feel free to get back to me if you have more information about this issue.

Warm Regards,
Bruce
