Which Entry Level Camera For Both Close Up and Landscape?

Hi Canon Geek,

I'm tired of using my phone for unsatisfactory results and I am now looking for an entry level digital camera.

If there is such a thing - I need one I can use for both close up photography (I love documenting fungus I find on hikes) AND the occasional dramatic landscape or skyscape.

Came across your page and hoped you'd have some advice,

Many thanks in advance!

Leila

Hi Leila,

Thanks for asking about a good camera for shooting both landscapes and close-ups, both subjects I also enjoy shooting. I'd be glad to give you my thoughts on that. May I suggest for you to answer just a few questions. I have a specific form that will help me guide you.

Camera Advisor

I have a one-on-one camera advisor questionnaire on my other website that you can use here. One additional question to answer is whether you want it to b a Canon or are you interested in any brand of camera. I look forward to your answers.

Thanks,
Bruce

interested in Canon

Thanks Bruce,

I'll fill in the other form!

I think yes, interested in Canon unless there's a definitively better make for my requirements?

Canon certainly appears a reliable manufacturor and popular, and I'm not sure why but every time I browse I keep coming back to Canon.
