I've had my Canon 60D for about a year and a half. It has started doing this thing where the image on the screen is upside down. Sometimes it acts confused and flips between upside down and right side up. Typically it fixes itself within a minute or two and then is fine but will do it again if I don't touch it for a day or two. It seems to be getting a bit worse. Is this a common thing or a random defect with the sensor maybe??
Thanks for your question about a flipping image on the LCD of your Canon 60D.
I have never heard of this problem and recommend you send your 60D to a factory repair center.
Unfortuneately, DSLRs are like automobiles and they do need maintenance and repair from time to time.
Here is the link to the Canon facility nearest you:
Canon Camera Factory Service.
I recently had my 24-105mm f/4.0 lens as well as one of my 5D bodies serviced and now have peace of mind that they won't break down in the middle of an important shoot.
Good Luck
