"I have a question. I have a canon 500D Camera. Apparently someone changed the setting and now when i take shots the display screen shows a oval shaped black frame instead of the normal rectangular display screen. How can we change this setting back. When I take shots and view the pics again there is a oval frame around the pictures. Appreciate the help."
Hi Aaron.
Thanks for your question about a framed-in area on your Canon 500D LCD screen. It's tough to tell from your photo because the lack of sharpness, but I've never seen this before. It almost looks like the type of effect you'd get in Live View where the lens is not fully attached or the lens is the wrong size.
Your best bet is to call Canon directly: 1-800-385-2155.
