NEED HELP WITH CANON POWERSHOT SX740

Canon SX740 HS Camera
"It's only been almost a year since I have bought this camera, and suddenly the camera froze and went while it was still on, and the lens is still in place. The camera is not turning on, and I even tried switching out the batteries incase it was a battery issue. I made sure it was fully charged as well. I am not sure what else to do to turn this camera on, and have the lens go back in. Can you please help me???

You did the right things by charging and checking the battery. The SX740 is a very capable camera-see the specs below.
CANON SX740 HS SPECIFICATIONS:

It may be worth fixing-likely less than buying a pre-owned one-and definitely cheaper than buying a new camera.
