My Canon EOS 70D
"I want a supplemental book for the EOS 70D that was purchased in December 2016. The Klostermann book was published in 2013. Will it cover the features in my 2016 camera? There don't seem to be any current publications. Thanks"
Hi Connie,
Thanks for asking about books for your EOS 70D. Yes, the book is still relevant and a valuable asset for understanding your camera. The 70D itself, was first introduced in September of 2013 and hasn't changed. Once a camera is designed and manufactured, its operation and its features will not change. Occasionally, there are firmware updates to the processor, but they don't diminish the value of a good book on your Canon 70D.
I purchased my 70D in December of 2014 and purchased the book, Canon 70D Experience - The Still Photography Guide to Operation and Image Creation with the Canon EOS 70D - Kindle Edition, by Doug Klosterman, in April of 2015. That book was first released in October of 2013.
