Clean hdmi For Canon?

by Anders Lillebo
(Norway )

Hi

Looking to invest in more cameras for my live stream setup. Currently streaming via usb, using the software Ecamm live, but in the future I want to transition into using hdmi into a switcher (like the Blackmagic ATEM mini)

For this though, I ideally need a camera with a clean hdmi output, but it has proven to be very hard figuring out witch canon cameras actually has that. My canon m50 doesn’t, while my m6 mark 2 does.

Currently considering picking up the M100, since it’s often discounted, but it’s very hard to find info about the hdmi on this camera. It seems like the M200 has it, but I would rather avoid getting that one for that feature only. Was hoping you get help me getting to the bottom of this.

Also, any other thoughts about building a multi-cam live streaming setup with canon cameras are most appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Anders,

Thanks for your question about clean HDMI for live streaming. I have no experience with this and no idea where you should look for an answer.

Good Luck,

Bruce
