EOS 40D Live View On Ipad
by Jim
(Billericay)
"I have a EOS 40D and want to see on display what the camera lens can see. How can I do this?"
Hi Jim!
Thanks for asking about live view on an iPad while shooting with a Canon EOS 40D. I had a 10D and 20D a long time ago, but jumped all the way up to a 70D and then after that a 90D after that. I don't know much about iPads or iPhones so my answer is a bit limited. I do know that you'll have to tether between you 40D and iPad with a wire.
Canon 40D Camera With 18-55mm Kit Lens Live View From Canon 40D on Ipad
You can download any of the 40D software from the USA Canon website
HERE, but I don't know if it will work on an Ipad. The latest versions of the zoom browser or EOS utility are worth looking at, as well as the 40D manual. You could also call Canon support: 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666)
It's also possible there is a more recent app available for Apple (iPad)
Good Luck,
Bruce
