Which Canon DSLRs offer Silent Shutter?

Silent Electronic 90D Shutter
I want Silent Shutter mode and would appreciate a list of all Canon DSLRs that offer it. I'd prefer to stay APS-C.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for your questions about Canon APS-C DSLRs with a silent shutter. What you want is an electronic shutter, where there are no moving parts. Perfect for shooting weddings, or a quiet contest like billiards or golf. Having a silent electronic shutter on your Canon also can improve on image sharpness for long exposures because there is no vibration caused by mirror bounce.
Canon DSLR With Silent Shutter
Look for a list no farther than the Canon 90D. It was one of the reasons I skipped over the 80D and purchased a 90D.To activate the silent shutter with the 90D, you need to be in LIVE VIEW mode to get it to show up in the menu.
I'm a huge fan of the 90D for many reasons, including its top notch video capabilities, fast frame rate, and it's price point. You can obtain a shutter speed as fast as 1/16,000 second with the electronic shutter active.
Joe, I hope this answer on a Canon silent shutter was helpful. I'm curious to know if you're opposed to looking at a Canon APS-C mirrorless.
