Refurbished Canon 6D

If I wanted to have my 6d refurbished, what kind of cost am I looking at. It works fine but, I still want it brought up to as much excellence as possible! Not selling, just making sure it works in the field.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your question about a good price for getting your EOS 6/D refurbished. Technically, if everything on your 6D is working properly, you won't need an actual refurbish/repair, but more of a maintenance/cleaning type of service.

Canon 6D Service Cost

That will be less of an investment for you. I am not a qualified technician to give you an accurate answer, but I've had Canon camera bodies serviced before at a not-too-distant-from-me Canon service center here in New Jersey. I'm guessing between $150-$250.

Canon Service Center

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused some changes in the working hours of some of the Canon authorized service centers, so you'll have to do a little research in that department. It's a smart move to get cameras serviced, rather than wait for something to break. Similar to owning an automobile, occasional servicing is involve.
